How to Opt-Out of Apply Now

You may want to opt out of Apply Now if you have an existing application process in place for your rental listings. This action will remove the function of the “Apply Now” button on your rental listing and prevent confusion about the application method for your listing. You can choose to opt-out all of your listings or select specific ones. 

How to Opt Out One Listing from Apply Now in the Applications Tab

If you adjust the Apply Now status for a specific listing on the application tab, it will override previous settings established in your "Settings" or "My Listings" tabs for the specific listing.

To disable Apply Now for a specific listing using the Applications tab, complete the following steps:

  1. Click the “Applications” tab
  2. Find the desired listing and set the "Apply Now" toggle to "No" in the "Enabled" column.

How to Opt-Out One Listing from Apply Now Using the My Listings Tab

To opt-out a specific listing from Apply Now using the My Listings tab, complete the following steps:

  1. Click the “My Listings” tab
  2. Click on any of the four “Pencil” icons to edit your listing.
  3. Click the “Applications” tab
  4. Ensure the checkbox for “Use Apply Now” is not checked.
  5. Check one of the three alternative application methods available. The options are third-party application, paper application, or other.

  6. Click “Save and Continue” to update the application method changes. 

How to Opt-Out All Listings from Apply Now:

To opt-out all of your listings from Apply Now, complete these steps:

  1. Go to “Settings”.
  2. Under the “Application” tab, find and click “Apply Now”.
  3. Check the box next to “Apply Now Opt Out”.
