Frequently Asked Questions:

What happens after I publish my listing?

After publishing your listing, it will become active and searchable by other Rental Beast users. Any syndication that has been enabled will now become active.

How long does it take for my listing to be active?

Listings should show on Rental Beast immediately after publishing. However, a delay might occur before the listing appears in your MLS. Also, for third-party syndication websites, the listing may take up to 48 hours to appear on their website.

Can I get renter leads for my listing?

Yes, you can. Any leads generated on your listing will go back to just you. To enable lead filtering, refer to this article.

How do I know if someone is interested in my listing?

You will receive an email notification with the lead information and the property address. Any lead information will also be added to your “Client’s” tab. To view notifications in the Client’s tab, refer to this article.

Will I receive any in-platform alerts on my listing?

Yes. Your “MyListings” tab will have in-platform alerts to help you easily manage your listings. Alerts you will receive are:

  • Expiring Listing - This will be indicated with a “triangle and exclamation point” icon to notify you 14 days before a listing’s expiration date.
  • New Lead - This will be indicated with a “bell” icon to notify you when a new lead has been generated on a listing.
  • New Application – This will notify you when a new application is submitted on your listing.

If you have more than one alert for a listing, there will be a “Plus sign” icon in the listing details.

What access do administrators have to help manage listings?

This is entirely dependent on your role and MLS permission settings. If you are an administrator for a specific office, you can only manage listings from agents in that particular office. If you are an administrator for an entire Brokerage or multiple offices, you can manage listings for all agents in that Brokerage or select offices.

Rental Beast does not set this permission setting. These settings come directly from your MLS.
