How to Run a Search from the Client List

This article teaches users how to run an inventory search directly from a client's profile page. 

Steps to Run a Search from the Client Tab

  1. Go to the “Clients'' tab.
  2. Click on the “Eye” icon or the client's name to open their profile.

  3. Confirm the information in the “Moving & Apartment Preferences” section is correct. 
  4. Click the “Search” button at the top of their profile to initiate your search. The search will automatically apply information entered in the “Moving & Apartment Preferences” section to the search results. 
  5. A new page will populate with search results. To add additional requirements or filters, update the search, and click “Search” to update the search results or “Close” to view search results without any changes.
  6. To save the search, click the “Floppy Disc” icon.

  7. Type the search name in the “Type Shortcut Name” field and click the “+New Search” button to save your search.

  8. The saved search will appear in the area below.

Are there specific fields to enter that will help a search be more relevant to a client? 

Yes. The more information you can include in the “Moving and Apartment Preferences” section, the more relevant your search will be. Some of the most popular fields include:

  • Minimum Bedrooms
  • Desired Move-in Date
  • Length of Lease
  • Min Rent Budget
  • Max Rent Budget
  • Desired Cities/Neighborhoods/Zip codes

Can a client’s profile or rental requirements be edited at a later date? 

Yes. When on a client’s profile page, click the “Edit” button, update the information, and click the “Save As” button to update their profile or rental requirements.
