How to Enable System Alerts and Notifications

This article guides users on enabling system alerts and notifications. These settings manage your preferences for client activity reports, lease anniversary notifications, and outgoing communications to renter clients.  

How to Receive Daily Updates about Client Lease Activity

  1. Click on “Settings”.
  2. Click the “Client Communication” tab.
  3. In the “Activity Hub” section, check the checkbox for the field “Send me a daily email recap of any client lease activity” to enable daily updates. The email is sent automatically and lets you know which properties were sent to your clients daily.

To receive tips on converting a new lead, check the checkbox for the field “Show my next ‘Suggested Actions’ in the Client Activity Hub” to enable them. 

How to Set Lease Anniversary Email Notifications

  1. Click on “Settings” in the header.
  2. Click the “Client Communication” tab.
  3. In the “Notifications” section, check the checkbox for the field “Send me Upcoming Lease Anniversary email notification” to enable them. These notifications are sent to you when a client’s lease anniversary is upcoming. 
  4. Type in how many days before the lease expires to receive the notification about an upcoming anniversary. If you do not enter this information, the notification will automatically be set for one year from the client’s Desired Move-In Date.

This notification only works for Rental Beast Pro users.

How to Get Copied on Client Emails

  1. Click on “Settings” in the header.
  2. Click the “Client Communication” tab.
  3. In the “Client Emails CC Settings” section, choose whether you want to be copied on emails the system sends to your clients. Emails you can choose to be copied on are:
    • Listings you send to your clients.
    • Listing alerts about your clients.
    • Invitations sent from you to start an application 
    • Client questionnaires you send to a lead or client (Rental Beast Pro only).
    • Welcome emails sent to a newly accepted lead (Rental Beast Pro only).
